why would it sell hardware? alot of people who got a Wii wanted it becasue of Wii Sports, so the people buying Wii Sports Resort in droves already have Wiis

Monster Hunter 3 on the other hand...

It always seemed to me that the logic behind the japanese market meant that new titles = more sales, no matter the logic of who should be buying a console for that title.

Well, why exactly did an expansion pack make PSP go boom? Or why did Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires boost hardware a little?

18k to 21k is a move. It's not a big one, but I bet Nintendo would prefer a sustained smaller boost than a large one that goes away after a week.

Odds are, there will be a consistent increase, or flat sales, like what happened when those Dragon Quest ports hit the DS a few years ago.

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."
