It really isn't hard to understand is it? the 360 is 8 million units ahead of the PS3, the PS3 can't even outsell the 360 on a constant basis for more than a week at a time, at this rate the gap won't close let alone overtake the 360, and don't forget, the closer we get to christmas the better the 360 will sell as it is the "360's" biggest time of the year when it usually outsells the PS3 2:1 (even 3:1), same will happen this christmas.

It will be 10 million then 12 million then 15 million gap before you know it but i'm sure we can "wait until the ps3......" lmao

Sales, that's all people talk about. People actually think that more sales means better quality. But the fact is that's not always the case and it's sad that many people don't understand this. Or more likely chooses to ignore it.

If sales mean better quality, then I guess it's safe to say that "big bumpin" (a mediocre game) is the xbox 360's best exclusive and is one of the games that defines the xbox brand as it has high sales.

It's quite sad for people who strictly think that "more sales means better quality". If that's the case, then I guess wii fit is the best game ever of this generation. It's better than halo 3 because it sold more copies. Or "big bumpin" (a mediocre game) is one of the xbox 360's best exclusives as it sold more than most other games and that at one point it outsold gears of war 2.

And yes sales are the most importent thing at the end of the day, and yes they declare how much quality a product has.  Sure there are always the exception but most of the time sales=quality because thats what most people want...

Big bumpin is a mediocre racing game that is exclusive to the xbox 360 that at one point outsold gears of war 2 and it may still do.

Sure sales are important in a sense, but most people are forgetting other factors. Like the playstation 3's high price, the demand for a price cut, lack of advertisement, the xbox 360's one year head start, quality exclusives that makes a console (not sales), etc.

Bioshock received very positive reviews, but wasn't a big seller like gears of war and halo 3. Same applies to killzone 2.

Yes advertising is a big thing but price is not that big of a factor at all (as proven by the wii)  And the PS3 does not have a really high price anymore
