Sure sales are important in a sense, but most people are forgetting other factors. Like the playstation 3's high price, the demand for a price cut, lack of advertisement, the xbox 360's one year head start, quality exclusives that makes a console (not sales), etc.

And tbh that is the absolute worst comparison i have ever seen anyone use ever to say sales don't equal quality.

Yes advertising is a big thing but price is not that big of a factor at all (as proven by the wii)  And the PS3 does not have a really high price anymore 

 


and yet there are still people who complain about the price and choose the cheaper option. We can only wait and see how much the price cut will affect the ps3.
