Still, it was a let-down to play on hard and not get the trophy(s). I got all the shards and played hard on my third play-through for the express purpose of getting the platinum. I played on hard again, letting the game auto-switcg me to hard and I got my gold and platinum. Anyways, I was under alot of stress with family issues, apartment problems, and a lack of sleep, so I flew off the handle. Thanks to all those who posted well- measured responses to my tirade.

So if you let it auto switch, it'll give you the trophy? I'm doing my second playthrough on Good on Hard, and it won't get me a Platinum, but another silver and gold are always nice.

Yeah, thanks guys. I did go bit mental. Kind of embarrasing to have a melt-down like that. Def not selling my PS3! It was as much about my state of mind at the time as it was the trophy thing. Anyways, I dl'd Wolfenstein 3-D, the LBP Metal Gear Solid 4 pack, and Super-StardustHD yesterday, as well as Flower a few days prior. Nice to be able to finally use PSN for purchases! Next up, the R-type games and Namco Museum Essentials.

how did u get all the shards? there is one that i cannot get. its right before u fight sasha, before u go down to the pit where u fight her, there is a shard there that i cannot get, played the game plenty of times and still nothing.

It's not actually in the tunnel; if you look on top of that area when you have to open the tunnel, go as far away from the city as you can. The shard is behind a train car.

EDIT: By as far away from the city as you can, I mean that you need to go away from the Neon District. Head towards the water. I was worried about this shard too, but Sucker Punch made it so that you can get all of the shards at any time once that area is unlocked. They're just scattered throughout the city.
