Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror is one of the best PSP games. Definitely I will pick the sequel up.

Thats my point tho, I dont think you realise the ins and outs of the scene and i am reluctant to explain them on here. ds flash cards are very popular, and cheap, theres no need to change anything within the DS itself, no risky flashing, no modification, no custom firmware. You can throw in a cheap 2gig SD sard and store about 50 games. In HK you can goto an electronics store and walk out with a card set up with all those games for the cost of 1 retail game.
The PSP needs downgrading, upgrading, custom FW isntalling and often regularly updating and a 2 gig sony MC will store maybe 2 - 3 games and costs far more. An off the shelf product is always far more appealing than internal modifications.
Theres NO reason why piracy is hurting the PSP more than the DS, if there is, please enlighten me.

DS modification kits may be easier than hacking a PSP (the procedure you mentioned - downgrade, upgrade, custom firmware, etc) but they're not easily available. To tell you the truth, I would like to get an M3 adapter so that I could play crazy Japanese games that would never be released here is the EU. I can't find it anywhere here in retail, though and must purchase through the Internet, which many people are afraid to do (including me).

Also Nineonine, there's a difference, what you see on the DS are the cheep, crappy Chinese junk of bootleg games, which are being sold to customers, as original. The people don't even know that they're buying serious junk. What you see on the PSP are games downloaded by "gamers" from the Internet. Most PSP UMD games are all original and no junk. For on the DS you "can't" download games and put them on a memorystick comparing to the PSP. In the end publishers / developers are probably most hurt by PSP gamers than DS gamers, despite the fact there's much more bootleg around for on the DS.
@Routsounmanman, eh you don't need any kit for your DS to play Japanese games on it, the handheld is "region free"! Just like the PSP is for games, only the PSP is not region free for UMD movies. For consoles I've never and will never use these kind of stuff, that's why I own import consoles ;) Never gave me any hassle, freeloader on the other hand, busted my entire Gamecube back then.
Okay back on topic: game sure looks pretty nice ;)

I hate the piracy excuse... go to google and type R4DS, you'll see how much easier it is to hack a DS. I myself use pirated games i admit it but when the original comes to PAL regions i *ALWAYS* buy the original (well there is the case of MySims which i regret even downloading) so i don't steal money i just wanna play the game earlier. And in Nintendo's case, MUCH earlier. (That's probably why i have nearly 40 original games on the PS2, cause they get here fast)

Onna you're SO wrong :P there are LOTS of cartidges that plug in the DS's slot which allow you to play downloaded games (those cartidges have slot for microSD cards) and DS games are all over the net and are much easier to download because of their size! Also those cartidges allow the DS to show pictures, play music AND movies.
@Onna76 I know DS is region free, problem is that noone imports Japanese games here in Greece, and I don't have a credit card to get it from online-sites :(

It doesnt matters , no matter what you say , people on this site will ignore your easy to pirate DS game explenations anyways :(

The fact that DS games are easy to pirate doesnt mean that they are pirated. The DS was aimed at the casual consumer whereas the PSP was aimed at the tech savvy, the techies are far more likely to go to the effort of pirating games than say your grandmother.
