@nine0nine noway DS suffers more from piracy than PSP; that's what's killing the system now (PSP)

Thats my point tho, I dont think you realise the ins and outs of the scene and i am reluctant to explain them on here. ds flash cards are very popular, and cheap, theres no need to change anything within the DS itself, no risky flashing, no modification, no custom firmware. You can throw in a cheap 2gig SD sard and store about 50 games. In HK you can goto an electronics store and walk out with a card set up with all those games for the cost of 1 retail game.

The PSP needs downgrading, upgrading, custom FW isntalling and often regularly updating and a 2 gig sony MC will store maybe 2 - 3 games and costs far more. An off the shelf product is always far more appealing than internal modifications.

Theres NO reason why piracy is hurting the PSP more than the DS, if there is, please enlighten me.

DS modification kits may be easier than hacking a PSP (the procedure you mentioned - downgrade, upgrade, custom firmware, etc) but they're not easily available. To tell you the truth, I would like to get an M3 adapter so that I could play crazy Japanese games that would never be released here is the EU. I can't find it anywhere here in retail, though and must purchase through the Internet, which many people are afraid to do (including me).
