To the untrained eye it seems like nothing special but when you know the game really well, some of those plays are really awesome.

Ok, let my amateur eyes guess: In the 15 sec short clip the big thing is that the green player managed to kill the orange queen?

The orange "queen" is a reaver!

And the big thing isn't that it gets killed. The thing about the first clip is the commentator going REAVOREAVOREAVOREAVOREAVOREAVO! xD. That's some energy the korean SC commentators have.

Oh. That's funny.

Is there exciting matches commentated in English anywhere to be found?? A guy here earlier linked to a guy on YouTube with hundreds of posted matches but they were in Korean.

?!?!

I posted two links, one to the RAW matches, and the second link was an account full of English commentaries and links to the commentators own pages. Here it is again.

Oh and this is a great video about Korean commentators xD

I'm not talking about Xel'Naga, they were wiped out by the Zerg many years prior to Starcraft events.

Have you finished Brood War? Secret level in the Zerg campaign (with Zeratul?)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/StarCraft_II

(see backstory part)

You edited your post or I didn't see your blacked out part when I first read it and since you were responding to mibuokami I assumed you were going to same way he did. Yes, I finished Brood War and did the bonus mission with Duran making hybrids. While I do think they'll show up somewhere in Starcraft II's story, I don't think they will be a playable race.

Just who do you think created the Hybrid? Duran himself stated that he works for a 'far greater power' and considering how dominant Kerrigan was towards the end of Brood War I can only think of 2 things with the potential to top that, The Overmind or the Xel'Naga, of the 2 it's far more likely that the Xel'Naga is behind everything.

If that's not enough then here's something from Starcraft II's trailer: (spoiler)

""I bring tidings of doom. The xel'naga return, the cycle nears its end, the artifacts are the key... to the end of all things."

Oh. I must have had bad luck clicking on just matches with Korean commentaries.

Thanks again!

He also linked to English commentaries on VioleTAK's Youtube account (as well as the individual casters).

As far as pimpest plays go, this video is way better (assuming you mute the music - I can't stand music videos):

Story/character wise... The Overmind kicked ass. I'm still pissed Blizzard killed him off.

I'm still hoping for the best in regards to SCII, but I remain cautious. If anything, Brawl taught me the sequel doesn't have to be nearly as good as the original.

Pound for pound, I doubt SC2 will hold up to the original. That said, I expect it to be an amazing game and be the main game I play for quite a while to come. But to expect it to match up to being as good as SC may be a bit much to ask for.

I dont think sc2 multiplayer will match the first balance (at least not right away) so I think the first will rule in that regard for a while. However, the campaign looks to be MUCH improved

It took 7 years to make the original perfect.

I LOVE ICELAND!

Blizzard will patch sc2 just as much as they did the original. So even if it isn't as balanced at release it will be eventually. So I don't think balance will be a serious issue really.
