Honestly I am not going to read this entire thread, but will say this. Why report when it is so much more civilized to ask the offender to remove it of their own accord. Just send them a forum mail or make a wall post. Tell them you find it offensive, and explain why you find it offensive. You might actually be surprised at how accommodating the vast majority of posters are.

The reason is simple nobody is trying to be offensive. They are trying to share their amusement. The last thing they want to do is make people dislike them, or to put other members off. I agree with you that video is a bit too graphic. It does cross the line of good taste. I do not want to see dismemberment while I am reading forums.

The point is this give the fellow poster a chance before you go running to the moderators. You will get more respect that way. You will not be a jaded censor. You will probably get what you want. You will save the moderators some time. Your actually doing the other member a favor. They may be totally oblivious to the ramifications of what they are posting. Sometimes it is sexist, racist, morose, or just disturbing. So it isn't as if they are doing these things intentionally. They just aren't seeing something as others might.

The Kratos gif doesn't bother me one bit... I watch alot of horror movies though... that could be it :S

That is simply how this site works.  Porn is an absolute no-no but the graphic material like the Kratos gif can fly as long as it's in the right context.  If you don't like it, go somewhere else.

This is the internet and while we do what we can to protect you from some of the bad stuff, if you want to have fun on the internet you have to learn to have a little bit of a thick skin for some things.  That gif goes here because it has to do with the game and that's just what we allow.  We aren't going to bend the rules for the overly sensative people and that's just the way things are here.  You are the overly sensitive person so you are the one that has to deal with it.

Luckily there is a handy dandy little feature that allows you to turn off sigs.  I know you don't want to toss all the apples out blah blah blah, but that's too bad.  You're the overly sensative person here.  I'll protect you to a certain extent but beyond that you either have to grow a pair, turn off sigs completely, or get out.

And don't get me wrong, if you do see something you feel is offensive in any way by any standards, please report it.  We will take action if action needs to be taken.

And with that said, there's no reason for this thread to be here anymore.
