Well, there have been reports of him almost surely going to Barca... so...

Yeah I know, but those are from the same sources who said that he was going to go to Real, and it didn't come true. This will be a case of "I'll believe it when I see it" xD. Also, another business that has me thrilled is Manchester United bid for Aguerro, they have already bought Michael Owen, and if they can buy Aguerro, they'll have a really strong middle/forward ground this year (I know you people are Liverpool fans, but there hasn't been any news of Liverpool buying or selling players, not here in Portugal at least).

Owen, yeah, didn't hear from him in ages... I thought where did he disappear? these days he's not as good though, I'm sure...

He was playing for Newcastle, and last year he got his earlier years form back, so it was a good move on M.U part. Hopefully he can still be the good old Owen, and teaming up front with Rooney, M.U is gonna have a pair of Road-Runners xD

I have the feeling this thread isn't about Pro Evolution Soccer anymore....

PES FTW, Fifa is for n00bs who love to score many many goals.

@Barozi

Yeah, it kinda derailed when Real Madrid was thrown to the mix xD.

@Ari_Gold

Well in PES you can score lots of goals as well, just today i've won 6-2 in ML on Top Player with 10 min playtime. The major difference is that the goals in PES actually takes effort and skill to score them and give you a bigger degree of satisfaction ;)

While the goal frequency can be argued (I think the average is lower, and thus closer to reality, in PES), the fact that bothers me most in Fifa is that all the goals are the same. I remember playing a season and 90% of the goals were the same, defence pulled forward, my striker dribbles past one defender and scores.
In PES I've seen goals of all kinds occur (though I think there are too many goals from corner kicks)

Yeah, the goal frequency definetly is lower on PES. An average season for me in the ML is about 3.2/3.3 G.A, while in FIFA it was almost 5 G.A

Actually I kinda suck in corner kicks, I can't seem to score enough in them, maybe because I can't position my players good enough to take advantage of the ball. In compensation I score a lot from outside the box, mainly by doing the Square+X feint to the inside of the field and shooting from that position, it seems to find the top corners of the goal net with more accuracy.
