Yeah, but since some edition (don't remember which) they added new players. Some of them are "somewhat" decent, like Ruskin, Ordaz, El Moubarki and Gutierrez (I think, haven't played the ML in ages).

But yeah, overall it's very difficult. Perfect for a challenge

Yeah, actually Gutierrez is my SA and Ruskin with Odonkor are in my wings (I always play 4x3x3, except when i get a tough 4x5x1 opponent team, then i switch to 3x5x2). Ordaz is a decent default, but lacks balance, he gets knocked down even with a tiny breeze.
I was lucky to get Anderson and Nani in a Loan to the end of my first season in First Division, so I can hold on the middle field and make good passes to my forwards, otherwise the AI is just brutal in Top Player, they gun you down with zone defense way too fast.

I also play 4:3:3 :P

IMO 4x3x3 is the way football should always be played. It makes for a fast, fluid game, and it doesn't take away much from defense if your wingers go down and do some defensive work as well. Barcelona used this strategy almost through all this season, and look at what they've accomplished at the same time while playing some really good footbal =D

I'm a diehard 4-3-1-2 player. I NEED a number 10 in my team (a la Kaka, Riquelme, Ronaldinho), it's essential, I can't play without one. And the forwards are always one speedy winger to cross and one tank to score all the goals

Next season is gonna be very intereseting. Real will bring us the biggest football flop ever ;)

I use a number 10 as well, but mine is in the space between the middle field and my forwards, for this master league season im using Diego, he's a real stronghouse, with great passing and superb free kick skills (and he's only 24), but my real ace in the hole are my wingers, almost all my goal plays are made on the wings, be it crossing to the area with Ruskin, or drilling right through the defense with Odonkor's 95/96 speed/acelleration xD.

I think this year, Real will really crumble in all the expectations made for the mega galactic team that they are building. It will be a shame to see players like C.Ronaldo and Kaka go to waste in real.

Villa will go to barça if Eto leaves, if not I just don't see Barca buying him, that would create too much competition and strife between the established forward trio of Barca, Eto, Henry and Messi, and Villa. That wouldn't be good for Barça
