Playing Resident Evil 4 completely alone, well past midnight, in the darkest of dark with the sound blasting. Shit will make you bug.

oh come on! resident evil 4 is the tamest of the bunch. except for the dr. salvador, hes freaky

Did you even read what he said? Or did you just read "Playing Resident Evil 4"?

I did the same thing he did and I was scared shitless.

i do this for all the horror games i play. id have to say resident evil 4 isnt nearly as scary as its predecessors. psychological effects ya know

overall D2 and Eternal Darkness.
this gen: Fear 2 - while playing this game with headphones at 3 in the morning i nearly pooped my pants when my mother patted my back to tell me that i should go to sleep. that kindergarden level alone is so mind wrecking.

E.T The Extra Terrestrial

Anyone who dares disagree with, find a atari 2600 and fire up the game yourself. Your head will be spinning in less than a hour.

Why must JRPG female leads suck so bad?

Silent Hill 2

Disturbing, frightening and absolutely beautiful

its nice to see im not the only one who think of that in the silent hill games, to me the Overworld ... uh... World , is like a peice of art, the dark hallways the industrialistic atmosphere , the catastrophic areas ...ect

i would love to visit a place like that ... that is of course without the monsters xD.

i also think the music Akira Yamaoka also make it more artistic, it fits way too well with the game.

why worry about monsters, when you can be well-equipped with the Master Sword?

I thought that too, but i ended up giving him the wepon of my demise

omg is that from silent hill 2? i kinda want to play now, i like being scared shitless. the adrenaline rush is awesome!

*makes mental note to steal brother's PS2*

Pyramid head has nothing on that guy. Pyramid head will just kill you, this guy will suck your soul out of your eyeballs and devour it whole. So frightening.

People may think I'm kidding, but I'm not. I played though doom 3, in the middle of the night and shrugged it off. But nothing will ever stop the nightmares of E.T ransacking my house, stealing my 7th generation consoles and replacing it with a atari 2600 and a E.T game. That game gave me deep emotional scars.

I got Fallout 3 for 360 last week, but I haven't had time to start it.

Bioshock has its scary moments as does Halo: Combat Evolved.

The original RE and SH were very scary.

And I loved the ghost trains in FFVI.

I agree. It's scary, but I've played several games that are much more frightening. But, I have to admit that the level with the regenerators or whatever they're called scared me shitless!
