Forums - PC - What Games For Windows work with your XBL Gamerscore?

So I just had someone tell me that if you buy Fallout 3 for Steam and get achievements for it, it ties in with your Gamerscore and increases that too.

Are there other games that do this (actually update your Gamerscore) and if so, what are they?

Damn, nobody knows? Where's shio when you need him? -_-

They're called "Games for Windows" for a reason
Here's a list http://www.xbox360achievements.org/games/PC/

Twesterm, what is it with you and achievements? I know you like them, but if you're really an achievement addict, you're a really bad one. I have a higher gamerscore than you, even with less than half the 360 games you do (and that's not even counting XBL games and games you don't list in your profile).

I don't mean to be aggressive or anything, but it really bugs me.

They encourage me to play games I wouldn't otherwise play.  If I saw anyone of them for the PC, I might give them a go.

Alright, we're going to have to have a talk about this.

You don't need achievements to try out a game, you just need interest. I believe you mentioned that you rented Avatar just for the 1000 gamerscore. Fair enough, but why not actually play the good games you have thoroughly? I'm going for all the achievements in Mass Effect. By the time I'm done, it will probably have sapped up 60-70 hours of my time. But it still would have been worth it. If you're really an achievement fan, you'll play the games you already have, not buy new ones.

I have the attention span of a gnat sometimes.  I mean to finish these games or at least get further but I find something else shiny and forgot to get back to it.  I'm going to finish Ghostbusters soon enough because it's easy and I'll definitely work my way through Red Faction, I've just been hooked on Netflix for a while.

Luckily I am now officially in save money mode (which sucks because there are a few games I want to try >_>) so I'm not buying new games again for a while so that's going to make me go back and get a few finished.

lol. twesterm and montana hatchett are getting into it

but anyways, i know final fantasy XI works with achievements.

if you want good achievement games, play king kong. all you have to do is beat it and you got 1000. its also a really good game, youll be suprised. i would also check out fuzion frenzy 2 if you want an easy 1000. but always make sure that you have more worthy games than shitty easy 1000 games
