You mean down BY five?

teh.. all Wii haters, even IGN
the game tried to have very good controls, to create a worthwhile online fps experience on the Wii and to be generic and it managed to do all 3, so that's a perfect 10/10 !
on the other hand a game like GTA4 should have been "bigger, better and more badass" than GTA:SA, but was smaller, worse and arguably more badass, so that's only 3.3333333/10, but because I'm a nice guy it's 4/10 ;)
if you find sarcasm you can keep it
I taught it would get something around 85. i underestimated the anti-wii feelings out there.
In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.
At least reviews != sales
Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.
Am I the only one who finds it a little annoying how people accuse most reviewers with the "WII HATE"? The only review that did the whole Wii Hate BS was really that GamePro (and possibly some others) review.
And come on, IGN? FFS people, IGN was reasonable with their review and were very positive. How can you get upset at THEIR review?
Not trying to sound like a whiner but I've seen it happening in so many forums, not just here.

its score went down by 5
I'm surprised by the little reaction people here are having despite the low metacritic for a game with large amounts of hype, Killzone 2 would have been torn to shreds if it got a metacritic of just 74, same goes for Halo 3. Seems like double stands to me, but then again this doesn't surprise.

What's interesting is when you compare meta and user scores against Call of Duty: World at War.
Call of Duty: WaW scores:
Meta - 83
User - 82
The Conduit scores:
Meta - 74
User - 86
So the users think it's the best FPS on the platform, but the reviewers think it's about as good as the PSP port Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 (74). Worse, once Metacritic adds the 4 that EDGE gave it.
"The worst part about these reviews is they are [subjective]--and their scores often depend on how drunk you got the media at a Street Fighter event." — Mona Hamilton, Capcom Senior VP of Marketing

It does nothing new. The new control scheme isn't gonna merit higher scores forever beciause of how cool and intuitive i is. Eventually they are gonna have to match PS3 and 360 shooters in quality. If they can, great. Apparently a good amount of reviewers think otherwise here. I usually favor IGN, so their score was pretty good if you ask me. Then again, they tend to go easier on all games than the likes of EDGE, Eurogamer, etc.
