Sardauk, if Sony was able to provide something close to the price point MS has this generation PS3 would currently be whiping the floor with the 360. To go back to gaming experience definition, IMO NXE brought something interesting while the PS3 online integration is a copycat of second life

Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

If you wish to ask which is the best gaming console, then it is not valid to only allow 2 options, clearly a large proportion of the population would then be left unable to vote for the console they want to. Achievements/Rewards - PS3: leveling system, Platinum trophies which tell everyone that you've actually completed a game.
Console interface - PS3: gives me fast access to everything, and gives me a breath of options to tweak things.
The online service - PS3: it's free, it's lag free gaming, it has allot of content I like and it works.
Multiplatform games - 360: allot of the developers these days come from a heavy PC only backgrounds, since the 360 is very close to PC this results in PC ports to the 360 being better than it's PS3 counter parts.
The library itself - 360: it's 1 year head start has allowed it to have more games in general, games which are actually worth getting.
The controller - PS3: the controller is confortable, responsive, and it has a built in battery.
The exclusives - PS3: it's the reason I like Sony as a whole and why I keep buying their console, they have the exclusives I like.

This is a thread titled "which console provides the best gaming experience? PS3 or X360?" and it is in Gaming discussion. Sales have nothing to do with this. Just because this is VGChartz doesn't mean every single disscussion has to come back to sales. The bolded part of your statement is the firs time in this thread that you actually spoke about the gaming experience. While I disagree, your opinnion is respectable as anyone elses.

we come to vgchartz to talk about sales but ALSO about gaming. Ahd this is not sales discussion

Well, I do not own them. But, if I buy another one this Gen I would be going with the PS3. I have enjoyed both the PS one and the Ps2. I have had zero problems with ethier system. They have a decent selection of games I might like. I have heard stories about xbox's that went badly from friends. I also enjoy Sony's controllers.
