How the fuck can anyone see this on Natal?

I am so happy someone else is thinking this.

The only thing I can think of is masturbating to recharge your beam katana! ZING!

It could be on the Wii HD next.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Seriously? It was always propaganda used by the HD industry in order to keep core gamer sheep afraid of the Wii. Apparently now that Natal and Sony purple balls are coming its not so stupid.

Interesting point, if the game sells good and he continues saying he wants NMH3 on another platform this could be another point to confirm Wii HD...not before 2011 i hope!

No More Heroes probably heading to a different platform

July 1st, 2009 Posted in News, Wii, Written by Valay

No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle may very well be the last game in the franchise to be developed for Wii. The latest edition of EDGE features an interview with Goichi Suda, who is the director of the game. In the past, Suda 51 has expressed interest in bringing the series to other platforms, going as far as to say that, “it’d be good to have a chance to release the game on other consoles.” Now Suda has gone even farther with his words and shared with the magazine that No More Heroes will most likely be making a transition to “a new platform.”

“I think this is the last No More Heroes that is going to be developed on Wii. To expand No More Heroes to new possibilities, we need a new platform. Wii is a great platform, but we’ve done everything we can with it now.”

well well...

DS is due un 2010, 2011 probably in Europe...

Meaning No MOre Heroes 3 will be in 2013 ! = Wii 2

Hmm As long as it remains on Wii, I think it would be a slap in the face to the fans if it went PS360

You're right, I'm a fan of NMH and I kinda feel "slapped in the face" already :( even though nothing has actually been said

it would be perfectly fine if it were a true multiplat but that's not gonna happen, it would be a crappy port or no wii version at all. I don't know who would want one their favourite game series going to another console and no more games coming out for their console, especially if you don't have any of those consoles :(

what else could he have meant besides PS3/360, this gen is probably gonna be a long one. the only thing i can think of is that by "Platform" he meant WiiMotionPlus?.... could that be it??   **hoping something just got lost in translation*

The funny part is, despite the praise the game has gotten, I think it is as shallow a game as the mini-game collections that come out on the Wii. This game really won't really gain any more attention from the HD crowd because games like Assasin's Creed are much, much better games. The only reason NMH gets attention as is, is because it stands out for being different from other Wii games, especially with a M rated title. For an HD system, games like God of War 3 and Assasins Creed 2 and Modern Warfare 2 will leave a Suda production in the dust.

No More Heroes is leaving the Wii so we can all stop pretending it was great eh?

^^ The game is great, but it will have some serious competition on the other platforms

This could very well mean that he is talking about a console next generation. Especially if you look at the reason. They said they did all they can on the Wii, well they can't do much better on the other current generation consoles and in some ways it will be a downgrade(controls).

Where does he mention that? I mean with a statement like this:

“I think this is the last No More Heroes that is going to be developed on Wii. To expand No More Heroes to new possibilities, we need a new platform. Wii is a great platform, but we’ve done everything we can with it now.”

That shows and presents that he said he has done what he could with the Wii and would like to tackle another platform and that means this generation because he hasn't touched the PS3 or Xbox 360 yet.

Where does he say that the "new platform" is a current generation one? He mentions that they did all they can with the Wii right? Well what do the other consoles from this generation  have in terms of gameplay that will add to the game? Also they already "tackled" other consoles this generation with the multiplatform game they said they were making. No More Heroes Desperate Struggle is releasing in 2010. That is heading toward the end of this generation, and I highly doubt they have enough time to build the game for HD standards. This means, they are starting on a whole new platform which has a higher graphical standard. This will increase developement time and costs. This means if they start developing it right after(or before) Desperate Stuggle is release they will be lucky to release the game right before the first Next Generation console releases. Everybody will have their attention to these consoles, and will ignore the game that has a much higher budget than the Wii games. Also if they want to implement motion controls they will have to wait even longer for that to release on the respective consoles. Now if you say they don't have to up the graphical work and keep the budget they have, then it is very likely that the game won't sell as much as it would have with better graphics. The most I see is a port to other current generation consoles, and then the third game being multiplatform next generation.

You still never answered my question on where did it say that he will be focusing on next generation?

He said with that statement above that he has seen all what he could do with the Wii now he wants a new platform. Whether its PS3 or Xbox 360, no mention of him saying next generation. I understand No More Heroes Desperate Struggle is releasing in 2010 but that doesn't stop developers from actually having another project on deck.

I never said that he did. I was just interpreting it as such. Btw it isn't definate that he meant this generation, so for you to assume as such is just as credible as me assuming he meant next generation. All he said was NOT on wii, and on another console. That could be already released consoles or plans for next generation ones.
