I have to question the business sense of saying this right now, before the game is even out... Do they want to alienate the potential buyers or what?

You have to keep in mind that there may be something lost in the translation... Suda could have very well been referring to this being the last NMH this gen or ever for that matter... I would rather see him do a Snatcher game with Kojima or something else than continue to make the same game over and over...

Unlikely.
360 is the most likely.
Afterall the PS3 doesn't really bring anything to the table the Wii doesn't.
Suda certaintly isn't talking about graphical prowess when he says "everything that can be done on wii" since neither game is a graphics powerhouse.
I'd expect a 360 Natal project or a DS project.
Hell No More Heroes could of been done on the PS3 at launch. The Sixaxis has everything as far as motion controls go that would be needed for the game.

I'm just concerned with how this game will actually come out.
Will it have Wii graphics but just on a different console like Disgaea? If not,
I wonder how he will be able to manage the cost of HD development. Doubt it would sell much better on a 360, if not worse. PS3 could work the game though.
Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. " thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

Personally, I think he is just talking about:
1. it being on the Wii2 or whaever other next gen console
or
2. Being done with the series for a while...
but whatever... already covered...

Well thing about Suda is... as far as I can tell he follows the first rule of producing.
"Never invest your own money!"
He'll have someone else funding his game. Either that or he'll get money to fund it by doing programming for other games. That's the two ways Suda usually goes about things.
Grasshoppa seems to be a very conservative company in these things.
If it fails... someone like Marvelous will be screwed... but Suda will be fine... and the core Suda freaks will still buy it so really it's little to no risk to him so long as he can get someone else to put up the money.

I would hate this. NMH was revolutionary because of the CONTROLS!
If it's moved to PS360, then we'll go back to MGS2's Raiden-styled slashing...
Of course, everyone who talked shit about this series when it was on Wii would have to start admitting that it's AWESOME, but oh well...
Also, wasn't one of the reasons Suda developed on Wii because of his low budget? going up to the PS360 budget doesn't sound like the right direction...
I love actually slicing off the people's heads instead of just moving a stick from left to right...

Exactly! This game controls exactly how action games should control on Wii. If Capcom and Konami would get their heads out of their asses, they could have made Wii specific version of Devil May Cry and Ninja Gaiden that would have been awesome. Too bad besides a few exception (PES, Zack & Wiki) they think that only shovel ware and ports belong on the Wii.
Also, the people who hate this game just don't have enough patience to get to the awesome bosses. It is sooo much like SoTC in that it has such amazing boss battles but a boring hub world and added to that boring mini games. The good part is that the mini games can be bypassed once you unlock Assassin mission 18 as you can earn enough money for just about any boss fight in about 5 minutes with that one.
