Being at the gym is awesome dude. I'm 158 lbs. Not big at all and I'm straight athlectic also. I take about 30 minutes out of my day strictly on working out and I try to eat health also.

That's good that you picked up DDR and having awesome results as far as health and weight concerns. I was thinking about buying Wii Fit and DDR also for fun & exciting reasons but not weight loss reasons.

Seriously....I remember at an arcade. Some guy was playing DDR...and he was absolutely flogging it. He was just about drenched. There are people at the gym that don't sweat that much after a cardio workout. The reason DDR is intense is because it combines small jumps (like Skipping...the stuff Boxers do)...with leg movements, which pumps a lot of blood around...burning energy like crazy.

Thats why I DDR only wearing my underwear and a pair  of socks!

There were a few companies that made hard shell "pads", they seemed to last longer, but were more prone to lose wires from the shaking/impact.

On the contrary to DDR, I've lost 10 lbs using Wii Fit routines. The issue in my case is, there's little else to change in my diet, and Im down to my last 10 lbs until Im at my target weight. I rarely if ever eat fast food, often too broke for red meats, and don't snack much. I don't drink soda or coffee, mostly water. I'm not gaining weight, but the last 10 are always the hardest, especially when its all in the gut. I'm going to amp up my Wii Fit routine effective tonight, doing it every day for the month of July to see what results I get (admittedly I've been lazy with getting on Wii Fit the past month) So we'll see what happens. I'm hoping to trade in this mini-keg for a 6 pack

^ Congratulations man!
I hope one day you can try DDR and see for your self how effective it is. Alongside your Wii fit You'd be in great shape.

Hardly. You must not have met Rubang.
