I have to say i am a little bit dissapointed that Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars has not sold no where near as well as other GREAT GAMES for the DS. It is one of the BEST games to date on the handheld. Rockstar did a tremendous job. But for some reason nintendo owners have not supported it. I know theres many of you out there who have been iffy about purchasing it, but beilieve me it is well worth it. Not only are you getting a fabolous game, but you are also helping SHUN people who say Grand Theft cant sell on a Nintendo system. I beg to differ. This title will reach 500,000 by years end, especially once the Holiday season rolls in. But i know it is capable of hitting a MILLION PLUS.

Lets see how well the COnduit does, i hope it has a great opening week because it also truly deserves great sales.

But you are right. It's an excellent and FUN game and I also encourage all adult DS owners to get it.

I bought GTA IV for my PS3 love it the first 2 weeks, hated after that. So I've lost interest on the franchise for now and that's the reason of why I didn't buy Chinatown Wars.

Handheld games, even "hardcore" ones, aren't nearly as frontloaded as console titles. People tend to pick handheld titles up more when they've finished with their current one, or need one for a trip or something. I know I'm going to buy Chinatown Wars at some point, but I'm not really playing my DS too much at the moment, so it's in more of a queue.

Note NSMB and MKDS. Excluding Japan, (where NSMB did start off with a bang) they got good, but not spectacular openings, but keep on going like an energizer bunny on viagra.

Ill pick it up eventually, but their are so many other great games coming out I dont know where to start.

it's very simple a lot of the so called hardcore players on the DS download the game instead of buying it.

the more casual games get baught by casual people coz they dont download games but buy them instead
