Right, I have watched the trailer, and it the same one that was released at E3, and Selnor claimed looked better than Uncharted 2 then and everyone disagreed

Let's go from the top. Those water effects look ugly. When the water is just sitting around it looks great, but when the boat disturbs it, it looks pretty poor, like the old effect is still in place underneath, and the new effect has just been layered on top. The fire looks pretty average, especially as he just walks straight through it without any sort of disturbance to it, and the lighting has nothing on Uncharted. You also see lots of stuff flying off when bullets hit, but no visual deformation a la Killzone 2, where you could see the impact of your bullets, so I could carve ND into my chosen block and the resultant smoke effects where miles better

I also much prefer the more distinctive art style of the first, it just looks a little dull and dark for me, though the same can be said for Killzone 2

Hmmm. The problem is VGChratz is always in a little bubble concerning PS3. It's a predominent PS site. Figures of game viewings etc show this.

Because alot of other forums are really blown away by LP2. Before constantly attacking you would od well to read the OP. I used a ? after best graphics ever, and simply said it has a case for it. I was very careful not to shove my opinion down peoples throats in the OP as to not get attacked here on VGChartz. Purely because I knew it was one of the few places on the web where I would get swarmed with fanboys stating PS3 FTW. It's sad really. I still got attacked regardless of my choice words.

Well with Gears I certainly find it too grey, even though I like the architecture for the most part, but GeoW 2 certainly improved, and styling definitely gives it an identity. Killzone 2's identitiy lies with the heavy gameplay and red eyes of the Helghast, but it does just look a little dreary, and this, yeah you have airships, but it is just not very exciting

Yeah you did, but you heavily implied you think it is the best, saying it is a crime to look this good, and you also have to start a thread claiming End of Enternity is the best looking jRPG ever, based on a SD video. You do this all the time, it is not just this thread, but you exaggerate everything, like your claims that Natal would double the 360's sales

And another point, proper PS3 fans did not pay $400 we paid £425

its looks okay, there is alot of games that look better.
but the monster's art style is good looking.

looking at the video again, i'd say uncharted 1 looks better

hehe yeah, first it was fable 2, then star ocean4, alan wake, forza 3 and now LO2

I must say I am not really impressed. We've seen waaaay better visuals than this in the 7th generation.

Nevertheless I will probably try this game. I just bought the first Lost Planet for 4.99 and I am digging it so far.

Are people here insane? It's not like I woke decided I know I'll pick some 360 exclusives put them up on VGChartz and say 360 graphics FTW.

They are bloody Multiplatform games. My disgust at the FF franchise is not something new and you should no this. Both FF13 and EOE ( or ROF ) are 3rd party and for both systems. LP2 is 3rd party and for both systems. Seriously I think some PS3 fans need to evaluate what they are squabbling over.

Yes I put my opinion on the OP. But I did not throw it out there to purposely pi** off Ps3 fans. I think that is easily seeable from the OP words.

Do well to read these to forums, which are actually far more balanced than VGChartz. Even fanboys of both sides respect multiplats superior graphics when it happens. Like I said VGChartz is in a bubble.

the giant beasts sure look interesting, but shooting them to death with little *pew*pew* guns doesn't sound too interesting to me

still, if there is a (PS3) demo someday I'll be sure to take a look
