Hopefully the B-button extension bit (you can see on tha back of the Wii wheel) won't be needed for anything important in the game, because tbh i don't think the wheel adds much other than easier B-button access (i would be glad for instance to use a lone Wiimote and give the wheel to my dad, whom it will probably help to have a steering wheel reference....whereas a gamer like me can easily adapt to new controls)
I only have 2 Wiimotes and a nunchuck at the moment (plus 1 wired GC pad and one wavebird)
In the end i plan to have 4 wiimote, at least 2 nunchucks (really want to be able to do 2 player on wii boxing) and a classic controller (because the analogue shoulder buttons are annoying for old SNES/N64 games...and i won't have to keep plugging in a GC pad to the machine)
any extras (zapper shell, Wii wheel) i will get if it comes with a game but won't buy any extras (though if zapper doesn't come with RE:UC and only the crossbow thing i think i will get it....but only one)
and i'm not sure about the Balance board atm, i will see where it goes, doubt i will end up with more than 1 if i do happen to purchase.

edit, actually my two wiimotes and one nunchuck fit into a much smaller space than i used to need for two GC controllers, i think i could probably get 3 wiimotes and 2 nunchucks into the same space as 2 GC controllers, and if those GC controllers were wavebirds (with the added plug things for the recievers) you could add a further wiimote/nunchuck.
As for N64 controllers.....they need a box all to themselves.
so then, ignoring the "extra perephrials" like zapper, you could easily fit 4 wiimotes, 4 nunchucks and a classic controller for good measure into the same space as 4 GC controllers.
and further to that, why did people complain so much about the price of Wiimote/nunchuck, i mean £45 for both is amazing considering it's £35 (or at least it was) for a sixaxis.
