I'm pretty sure the Wii gun was supposed to come with pack in, but also be involved in bundles with Ghost Squad and Umbrella Chronicles, which probably would be what... 10 dollars more then the versions without them?

Or was that just rumors?

I believe they are, or were, doing that in Japan. It would make more sense to do it in Japan, with it's relatively healthy arcade scene.

I already have 4 Wiimotes + nunchucks and a classic Controller (which I haven't used)
I suddenly noticed that I have already have 10 games for the Wii and loads more on my to get list.

Our houses are going to fill up with just the stuff they give out with the games.
Wheel + Board + Zapper.

Thinking about it, If you like the one you got with the game you might get another...

So for a full system you'll end up with:
4 Wheels, 4 Zappers, 2 Wii Boards, 4 CC, 4 Wiimotes and 4 Nunchucks
22 Items just for playing games.

I'm starting to feel the pinch for a third and fourth wiimote, but I'm not sure the nunchucks are necessary. I can't think of a 4-player game that requires nunchuck, can anybody else?

Rayman Raving Rabbids does for a few mini games.  Nintendo stated they wouldn't make many games that required more then 2 nunchucks.  I only have 2 nunchucks and 4 wiimotes and have yet to come by a game that I just needed to get the last two nunchucks for.

Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.

I think that was just rumours you heard.  Once they packed in Links Crossbow it seemed like all bets were off for other games (for the time being) including a plastic shell.  I'll get the Crossbow game bundle just for the game and not the plastic pack in.

don't forget gamecube/classic controllers!

Wavebird is better for the GC titles... but the classic controller is better for some of the VC titles. So one of both at least.

you tell me where I can find a wavebird in Australia for < retail price, and I'll give you a cookie.

Help! I'm stuck in a forum signature!

what's gonna happen for multiplayer mariokart?
one person with a steering wheel, 3 without?

Hopefully the B-button extension bit (you can see on tha back of the Wii wheel) won't be needed for anything important in the game, because tbh i don't think the wheel adds much other than easier B-button access (i would be glad for instance to use a lone Wiimote and give the wheel to my dad, whom it will probably help to have a steering wheel reference....whereas a gamer like me can easily adapt to new controls)

I only have 2 Wiimotes and a nunchuck at the moment (plus 1 wired GC pad and one wavebird)

In the end i plan to have 4 wiimote, at least 2 nunchucks (really want to be able to do 2 player on wii boxing) and a classic controller (because the analogue shoulder buttons are annoying for old SNES/N64 games...and i won't have to keep plugging in a GC pad to the machine)

any extras (zapper shell, Wii wheel) i will get if it comes with a game but won't buy any extras (though if zapper doesn't come with RE:UC and only the crossbow thing i think i will get it....but only one)

and i'm not sure about the Balance board atm, i will see where it goes, doubt i will end up with more than 1 if i do happen to purchase.

 ----------------------

edit, actually my two wiimotes and one nunchuck fit into a much smaller space than i used to need for two GC controllers, i think i could probably get 3 wiimotes and 2 nunchucks into the same space as 2 GC controllers, and if those GC controllers were wavebirds (with the added plug things for the recievers) you could add a further wiimote/nunchuck.

As for N64 controllers.....they need a box all to themselves.

so then, ignoring the "extra perephrials" like zapper, you could easily fit 4 wiimotes, 4 nunchucks and a classic controller for good measure into the same space as 4 GC controllers.

and further to that, why did people complain so much about the price of Wiimote/nunchuck, i mean £45 for both is amazing considering it's £35 (or at least it was) for a sixaxis.

You're looking for a wavebird? I can look to see if they still have them on clearance next time I go out.

You think you have it bad?

I got 24 GameCube games
4 GameCube controllers
2 GCN Memory Cards
1 512 MB SD Card
2 Wii Remotes
1 Nunchuk (soon 2)
4 Wii Games (soon 6)

and I plan on buying Guitar Hero III with a guitar as well as the Wii Zapper.

^well if we are adding everything together i have an N64 with two controllers, 14 games (used to be more) and one memory pack.

1 GC controller (was 2) + 1 wavebird, 12 GC games (was 15), one official and one non-official memory card.

Wii with 2 remotes and 1 nunchuck, a 1Gb SD card and 6 Wii games (+3 X Wii points boxes i have kept for some reason)

and i am very sure that i have a very minimal number of extras to my consoles compared to the rest of this forum.

I keep them all in some cheap boxes i bought from poundstretcher that are meant to keep DVDs in.

I have one GC controller, 3 Wiimotes, 3 nunchucks.. i think i'm okay thus far
