Also, I hate hand sanitizer because it is only anti-bacterial and not effective at killing other types of germs.

Yeah, my first preference is soap and hot running water, but sometimes my cute travel-size bottle of Purell is all I've got.

When I was a kid (about 4 - 7) I was very obsessive compulsive, everything had to be in 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64... and so on, it started my early love for computers lol. Oh and I refused to eat unless I saw the food prepared, which caused a lot of people (read: my mom) a lot of hassle.

I'm not like at all now though.

fuck germs. theyre good for nothing

And what I mean is truly suffer from it. It sucks away hours from your life just to rid of the superflous anxiety. A year ago, I washed my hands probably over 20 times an hour. Of course, the dermatitis caused me to take control of it. I suffer moderately now. You can see my compulsions are on my profile.

It is a horrible disease. Does anyone else suffer?

Who are you?

And what is OCD? Is it fear of germs?

Yes it does! >_>

I think I have a mild form of OCD, but it doesnt hinder me in everyday life so I technically dont have it. For instance, if I touch something with my right or left hand or foot, I have a urge to do the same with the other to 'balance' it out, and before leaving my house I check the stove and alarm numerous times just to make sure things are the way they should be.  I also have a fear of germs which makes me wash my hands many more times in a day than I should and I try not to open public doors without using a napkin or my shirt.
