Celebrities. That's right. The game will do amazingly because two celebrities are involved. Many people unknowingly base many of their live's decisions around celebrities endorsements or involvement. Let me give an example. Barack Obama is now president of the U.S.A. because Oprah Winfrey told everyone to vote for him.
Celebrity number one involed with the Conduit:
Rick Neilsen from Cheap Trick plays guitar on the soundtrack. Let me explain to people who aren't old farts who the band Cheap Trick is. Their album Live at Budokan is considered by many music critics as one of the top live albums in history. They have had several huge hits including I Want You to Want Me, Surrender, and the Dream Police. He is a rock star and this will definitely help push sales. His guitar can hardly be heard on the game but this doesn't matter. It just matters that he's involved.
Celebrity number two involved with the Conduit:
Kevin Sorbo. That's right, THE KEVIN SORBO does voice acting on the Conduit. He was freakin' Hercules for crying out loud!!! Sources close to me tell me that High Voltage wanted an actor that was once Hercules involved because it would make the game more epic. At first they wanted Steve Reeves, who they consider to be the greatest Hercules of all time, until they found out that he died in the year 2000.
I consider Alan Steel to be the greatest Hercules myself. Have you ever seen Hercules Against the Moonmen? That movie was all kinds of awesome.
What was I talking about again? Oh yeah... Say what you want about the customizable controls, addictive online, or impressive graphics. The reason that the Conduit will be huge is because of the iconic Mr. Neilsen and Mr. Sorbo. This formula was proven before by me because Microsoft was said by most of the media to be the winner of E3. I proved that it was because they had the most celebrities show up at their conference. This formula has yet to be proven wrong.
So... do you agree or disagree that the Conduit will be huge because of celebrity involvement?
