awesome an opportinity to work for the best game developers on history? Talk about the chance of a lifetime. I wish i was skilled enough

Nintendo is hiring?

Seriously, you have to admit that Nintendo is a slightly better developer than Bungie, especially considering they've been developing for 28 years to Bungie's 18 (although people have only cared about Bungie for the last 8 years, when they've been making Halo). In fact, Bungie probably isn't in the top five.

Back on topic, Halo 3 wasn't exactly a graphical powerhouse. It didn't look bad, it looked very good, but it was nothing amazing. Hopefully their new game will look better than Halo 3, but by that time, a lot of better looking games will probably be out.

By 'people', you must mean console gamers, because  Bungie was well known to the pc community, and revered by the Mac one well before Halo came around.

But they only made a couple of 'Myth' games rite? Was they on Mac too?

The Marathon games would be their Mac legacy.

Ask a typical Halo fan what Bungie's first game was, 90% would say "Halo".

Halo was what put Bungie on the map, and it's not PC gamers singing their praises now, it's 360 gamers.

What's a typical Halo Fan?

And how do you know they say Halo?

Are you Saying that Halo fans are dumb?

Actually the typical Halo fan will likely tell you what they did before Halo. Maybe not back in 2002 but certainly now. Especially considering Marathon is on Live as well.

PC gamers dont sing Halo's praise because it was Xbox that took Halo away. Halo 1 came to years later to PC. And still scored 90% from PC Gamer.

Actually, it "only" got 85%:

Still a good score mind. But PC gamers don't sing Halo's praises not because it was taken away from them, but because whilst it's a competent shooter, it's not the second comming of Christ it's been hyped up to be. I think PC gamers are more than happy with the shooters they're currently getting and have been getting for the last 2 decades.

The PC release of Halo 2 is where MS really screwed up (see meta score) by giving it sub-par graphics and making it require DX10 & Vista for no good reason other than to force you to buy Vista.

Ah yeah sorry. PC Format. I knew it was in one of the 2 magazines I used to buy. LOL.

On the PC users. I used to be heavily into PC gaming. I was in the Allied Assault beta way back as well. To be honest when I first played Halo on Xbox it blew me away. Not necassarily graphics over PC FPS's, but it's fluidity and AI. I had not played anything on PC up to that point as good as Halo. No not even Half Life 1. I loved the whole vehicle intergration, and only 2 weapons etc. The whole game was polished from front to back in a way no other FPS at the time console or PC had ever done. Still to this day no FPS has got the balance as good as Halo. Halo 3 was almost perfect in gameplay it's not even funny.

But thats all my opinion of course.

Lol, you sound like me when I first played Half-Life 2. Halo did a lot of things right and has definately been influential on the FPS genre (almost to the point of annoyance now as they all try to copy Halo's success: regenerating health, limited carry capacity for weapons etc.). Not sure on the perfect gameplay on Halo 3. I thought it was one of the weaker of the 3 due to a poor campaign (loadsa fun in Co-op mind), although I didn't complete it (theres only so much I can hog my mate's 360 without being rude). As I mainly play single player I was a bit disappointed. Personally I prefer the gameplay in Half-Life and CoD games.

Half Life is a great series. For me it has it's woops moments ( zombie section of Half Life 2 was so tedious ) but it has it's own identity. COD however is so overated imo. It's a good game. But the single player experience is respawn heaven. Jeez I hate that.

You forgot every single vehicle section, something which halo does better than any other game.
