Forums - Nintendo - The Conduit Sales?

Ii guess we will have to wait till the end of the week. Otherwise, do not ecpect high numbers, just higher than Madworld, 60-90K range. If it is higher, I would be surprised.

Madworld launched to 42k in America.... I would be suprised if The Conduit at least didn't double that... but I also expect it to have far better following weeks than Madworld.

i was hoping around 100k to 150k

I don't expect big opening week sales. It might sell good by word of mouth. And by the way I am lowering my previous LTD expectations for this from 2M to 1M...

Anything below 500k units in the opening week will be a disappointment. If The Conduit fails you can kiss your hardcore games goodbye.

EDIT: Whoops, used the wrong account. Ignore this post.

Ban reason: pulling a Kirby

VGChartz is a sales website, so I wish we had more sale data, more previews specially for anticipated games. Btu it has become more game oriented like any other site out there. I still prefer it though (please don't ban me).

Anyways, I think anything over a $100k will be fine.

I can only speak for my local area, but every store around here has been sold out.

I'm expecting somewhere in the neighborhood of 150k, maybe just a shade below.

Retailers have not exactly been the best at stocking Wii games.... So while being sold out is positive for it's popularity, that is only in comparison to how well the retailers deemed it would do. Call of Duty: World at War had a first week of like 17k or something... no one could find it near launch because it had sold out.

Still... I do expect it to manage a decent 100k in America

I go with 85,000 -120-000 First week anyhing more is just plain butter.

I love fighting games !!! Come on challenge me !
