I had all other trophies unlocked. I set the difficulty to had as soon as the new game stated, right at the blast crater. Finished it on hard, never changed the difficulty. Let the credits roll. Back to the game. Nothing. Waited about ten minutes to hear the tropies chime-in. Nothing. I wasted a couple dozen hours trying to get this and I'm pretty pissed. Goind to sell my 60gig and all my games for sure. I went through a hellish time with the 360, and after many months of frustration, I sold it and 22 games too. No patience for crap like this, so after almost 30 years of gaming, I'm done. Still have a DS, but it's the last system I will ever own.

Anyway, when did you change the difficulty to hard?

I enjoyed the game sure, up until this point, but really, I can't stand for stuff like this. It's getting sold ASAP. Total waste of time, and a lot of time to boot. I played on hard to get the trophies, so what the hell was it for? Pissed right now yes, but it's a done deal.

Seriously, you did not get a trophy and you are abandoning a system? Did you not get any enjoyment from your playthrough at all?

Your not supposed to change the difficulty at all.

Your supposed to just start a new game on whatever difficulty it defaults too, play through the game until the game gives you a message and upgrades you to Hard on it's own. then finish the game for the trophy.

Changing the game to hard manually does not give you this trophy.

that is sad. I hope the next HD gen convince you to give it another try with more reliable trophy/achievement systems.

@Axumblade. That's bullshit. Like I said, I was playing again to get the trophy. Why is that a problem? It's part of the game. I beat it three times, so am I not a gamer, or less of one because I want the trophies? I play lots of DS. No trophies. I played Valkeria twice, no trophies. I have 31 PS3 games and 20 DS . Stop waxing idiotic, I'm as much a gamer as you.

If you were that much of a gamer you wouldnt want to get rid of your consoles for something so petty.

The game didn't glitch and it's not the system's fault. You just did this the wrong way is all.
