Forums - Gaming - Cross Edge Dash not planned for US release

^^^ yeah, but Sony has better tracking record. M$ put that on other games like Tales of Vesperia.
By the way, has anyone noticed the new cover art of MGS4? Maybe MGS4 will come to X360 eventually.....

Better track record does not indicate that a game will still stay exclusive to the PS3.

Either way since this coming to the 360 in Japan It's no longer exclusive, and neither is Tales of Vesperia if you speak Japanese ;)

It's just that simple.

FF13 is on 360 in NA/EU that means it's no longer exclusive world wide, same applies to Cross Edge.

As for it not coming, they always say they have no plans but more often than not it comes over.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

I do speak Japanese BTW.

I am talking about the box art.  The cover art of Japanese Cross Edge doesn't have the "only on playstation" sign.  That's why I think it makes sense.

Microsoft have made a fool of themselves by putting "only on Xbox360" on the cover art of some cross platform gamers.  I do believe that Microsoft and Sony are more careful now.

The bottom line is, my original intention is to point out the possible reason why we don't see the western release of Cross Edge.  But again, the name will be changed to Cross Edge Dash.  So technically, it's not the same game (same trick that Tecmo used for Ninja Gaiden 2).

It (PS3's market share) might hit 30%, but definently not more. ~ Neo

THe original cover doesn't have it either but... but... IT CAN'T HAPPEN!!!! IT JUST CAN'T >:O

[*sniff* *sniff*, runs to his PS3 in tears to hug it]

4 ≈ One

... right so bottom line is the 360 will get the enhanced crappy game, and eventually it will land on US shores for sure if enough people petition for it or NIS picks it up. Either way it must be pretty cheap to port games to the 360 if they only plan on making 30k or so sales and be happy with that.

Sounds to me like NIS America just wasn't aware of this being prted to Xbox 360 and now that they know about it I'm sure they are in talks with Compile Hearts for localizing the Xbox 360 version as well. This is in no way a confirmation but it still is likely to happen also.

Xbox 360 wants to KinectPS3 wants to Move!  Why are both systems having such relationship problems?  The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.

I don't care what console it came out on, I don't want it. Keep it in Japan for all I care.

Everyone needs to play Lost Odyssey! Any opposition to this and I will have to just say, "If it's a fight you want, you got it!"

The only thing that sucks for the 5 people who are mildly interested in this game is that I don't know if it will play on 360's in the U.S. Or I don't think they will since there is a region lock. correct me if I'm wrong about that...

It's up to the publisher if they choose to region lock the game or not. I own the asian version of Ninja Blade and have a NA X360.

@wenlan

Ninja Gaiden 2 and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 are 2 differnet games. One is an "enhanced port" made by a different team and is unique to the platform so the stickers "Only on" are not technically incorrect.
