^^@Munkeh, ya, you pretty much have to have Halo 3 if you have anything to do with Xbox

No you really don't, why are you talking rubbish?

^^Im not, look at every website, and every person that has an internet connection.

4 million - launch week
6 million - end of the year
10 million - ltd...unless Reach comes out in 2010.

To be fair I though Halo Wars would do 4 million lifetime, when in actual fact its going to do half that.

Looking at the landscape...I'd say yes.  Halo still has a VERY strong hold on the 360 community, and since Halo 3 launch, the population has doubled, so I think were are going to see a HUGE opening weekend, but weaker legs than Halo 3.

Okay. You think Xbox, what is the first game you think of? Halo 3 is the only possible one. Then you think, well if everyone else has it, there is probably a reason that it is so popular, I should probably get it. I thought along those lines, but I only rented it

I don't want to speak for Munkeh, but I think he was pointing out it sold poorly for a game in the Halo Universe. A small numbers on fans on this site mistakenly thought MS could slap the Halo brand on anything and sell 5 million units.

I have a question about OSDT, if I don't have Halo 3 can I still play Halo 3 MP through ODST? How long is the sp campaign, it was originally announced at 4 hours, but E3 seemed to suggest it was more like 7 - 9 hours? How long was Halo 3's campaign?

Halo Wars is the best selling RTS game on a console ever, so I would say it did fine. Anyone that thought it would sell 5 million didn't look at past console RTS sales.

ODST comes in 2 discs. The fist one is the ODST campaign including firefight. Bungie says it will be as long as the Halo 3 campaign so around 12 hours depending on the difficulty you play it on probably. The second disc is the Halo 3 multiplayer disc that includes every update and every map pack released as well as 3 new maps. The second disc in ODST allows you to play Halo 3 multiplayer with people that have the original Halo 3 game, although of course you can not play co-op campaign with them.
