I just hope that they put FF anthology on the PSN. FFIV, FFV and FFVI with cutscenes and akward translations was really awesome xD

I find Midgar actually one of the parts of the game. If not the best.
It's unique in the sense that you are for so many hours just in one city.
And then you get out of the city and find out how big the world is.

This thread makes me want to play Final Fantasy VII again. The materia system is my favorite battle system. If you get creative with how you combine your materia you can get some pretty interesting abilities.

I wouldn't recommend getting Knights of the Round as soon as you can. It makes things much too easy. You gotta beat the game with a standard party before you start overpowering your group.

You're right, but if you want the real challenge of the final boss fights, you have to get KOTR, since if you cast it on Jenova Synthesis, Bizarro and Safer sephiroth will have more HP and stats. Plus if you're Level 99, Safer Sephiroth will be at it's utmost strength, so the game actually compels you to be at the highest level possible.

Really? I didn't know that! But then again at level 99, all my characters have 4x Cut <-> Counter, Master Magic <-> All , Master Summon, Final Attack <-> Life or Phoenix. Sephiroth doesn't put up much of a fight against that.

Yeah. KOTR on jenova synthesis, adds about 64k more HP to Safer Sephiroth, 25k to Bizarro's head, 10k to both hands and 5k to the core. A normal powered Safer Sephiroth, say at about character level 80 with no KOTR on jenova has about 180k HP. A full powered safer sephiroth, character level 99 and KOTR on jenova, has about 480k HP, 210 in most stats and 250 Strength

Ahhh, Final Fantasy VII, my best gaming experience ever! I haven't played it in ages though. On my first playthrough I finished the game at level 40-50 with only 6 party members, lol.

Yeah, or if they are, they just didn't bothered replying to this thread, since i've seen a fair share of FFVII hate in this forum. But I guess no FF hate can be compared to FFXII hate, it's just way to massive here.
