and this are small studios.

PS3 japan base it's hungry for JRPG.

*coughssquarenixcoughs*

I think the likes of SE and Namco Bandai are missing out on a great oppurtunity and losing their fanbase. Maybe its good for Sony indirectly.. they might be able to buy one or two of these smaller promisng developers.

Hey Square start making JRPG's (no, they've been westernizing the genre lately) I'm hungry for a few.

Eternal Sonata was wussified but hot damn did I love the JRPG madness. :)

can't wait for Track Season 2009/2010, guna beast out!

Travis Touchdown ERECTION CONFIRMED!

Hmm. I'm not too sure of sell out articles. It's a possibility, but I wish I could read Japanese and see what people are saying in the comments.

*ahem* If anyone could be so kind.

Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,

It seemed blatantly obvious that this was going to happen, when the game sold through more than 70% on its first day.

In the main sales thread for japan this week, people seemed to be saying that the game could still be classified as a bomb. (Weren't you saying that, Outlaw?) Which seemed strange to me, but I guess it could be classified as a different sort of bomb, one where retailers didn't want to buy enough initial copies to give the game chance. If that's what's going on here, than at least the game has convinced retailers they underestimated demand for it, even if it actually hasn't managed to sell enough copies at this point to be considered a success.

Atelier Ronora will do fine..taking into account more shipments come in

That JRPG does not really look all that special. I guess they were just really starved for a JRPG on the PS3.

actually the Atelier series is "moderately" popular in Japan, they basically keep the franchise alive

Excellent news. I hope it'll manage good LTD's. If it comes here, I'll be buying!

for a pretty low profile rpg I guess its doing well, from the looks of its first day sales its going to outsell a couple rpgs similar to it. I'm kinda expecting this thing to perform a lot like demon's souls did.

Currently Watching - Naruto, One Piece

Waiting For - Skyrim, Mass Effect 3

PS3 Trophies

only in the west Atelier is low profile..like i said before its moderately popular in Japan
