Article from July, quote: "The demo which was shown is from the Xbox 360 version of the game. The PlayStation 3 version is still "a week or two behind," according to Rockstar. The build shown is 5 weeks old, and the framerate has improved considerably since the last demo."

1. R* said they were having probs with DVD9

2. R* said the 360 version was only 80% complete

3. The one wher Jeff Bell adamitted that an MS dev team were working with R*.

Keep laughing, if there is a GTA 4 + ps3 bundle, it can hit 10 million(if they ship enough) by years end.

As I understand, they've only ever shown off GTAIV on a 360 because it had more polish than the PS3 version. I believe there was an article about it, that the PS3 was behind development by about two weeks. I'll see if I can find the article.

They only ever showed the 360 version of GTA IV because that was part of the deal with MS. Only 3 aspects of that deal have been made public.

1. Exclusive DLC.

2. Day and date release with PS3.

3. 360 version used for display.

Blah, ridiculous. GTA4 simply isn't finished - and the PS3 version would take longer, not less time to complete.

Rockstar/T2 couldn't deceive the market or retailers this way either. Its basically illegal.

0% chance.

The rumors suggested that the 360 version could have been released this year but it was being held back to be released at the time time as the PS3 version which was delayed due to technical issues with the console (probably due to having less available CPU time or main memory than the 360).


 lol more like Rockstar is struggling to make GTA work on non harddrive 360s.

It won't happen....at all.

Microsoft paid Rockstar millions for exclusive content and a gaurantee basically that the game would come out on Xbox before or with the PS3.

Rockstar would have to pay LOADS of money to break the contract, I imagine.
