You are not spoiled...............You are fortunate.

Wow, I got my SNES in 1994 or 1995 (can't remember) from my parents and that is the last video game related item they have ever purchased for me (and I'm only 19).

So yes I would have to say you are spoiled, but hey - you'll get to play more games and your parents throwing all that money towards the video game industry is good for me (and every other gamer) so everyone wins.

Currently dreaming of: DKC4 or Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (classic 2D platformers) for WiiWare, Smash Bros. for DSi, New Super Mario World for DSi, a Wii remake or true sequel of Final Fantasy Tactics.

One down, hopefully more awesomeness to come.

Iv bought most of my systems but still felt spoiled when I got a Wii for xmas, so youre spoiled rotten.

Yeah i feel guilty seeing all these people without game systems or not as fortunate as but hey some of just got that kind of luck :)

Sorry, but that is not luck-- that is being spoiled and it has nothing to do with your family (aka, your parents/gaurdians) being more fortunate than others.  Seriously, your 16, go get a job and buy your own videogames systems (you will actual appreciate them more).

Hey take it easy on him! Geez.  I have to save lunch money and pretty much starve to get video games.

But I get good ones like Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, that for $20 lasts me 45 hours.

If you think your spoilt your spoilt. Get a job and cook dinner for your mum.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

That depends. Are you a good boy? Do you help out around the house? Do you respect and appreciate your mother? Do you get good grades etc? If you answered yes to all of the above, then I will have to say no. Just be glad that your family doesn't have to worry about food/shelter etc. and don't take it for granted. Maybe get a job so you can further appreciate what's been given to you.

Why do you ask?

I would usually say meh, maybe. maybe not, probably more just lucky but I'm guessing you made this thread to brag so in that case, yes.

It's not a horrible thing to have parents that like to buy things for their kids and it's a great thing if the kids are truly greatful and appreciate it, it isn't such a great thing when the parents buy their kids all sorts of things and then they flaunt it in others faces.
