You know, I've put in probably over 50 hours into inFamous, and I haven't seen any of the glitches that most people seem to have. The worst I've seen is Cole trying to walk while on top of an electric pole, and that didn't hurt the game at all.

I do think it could have used more polish though (in-game cutscenes!!!).

The in-game cutscenes were just ..........

.... innovative!!! :p

they look like some pre-alpha animation testing at some point.

Like the one after you save the medical crate from the reapers. God that was awful. So bad, it makes me want to cry. ;_;

yeah , the animations are just too "Sly Cooper"  for a game like this, its obvious that they're experienced on cartoonish animations ratcher than human.

they did it like Insomniac but Insomniac pulled it off

though Props for Sucker for making an massive sandbox awesome game. which i think this gen lacks and the only one that deserves applause is Crackdown IMO

Overall the game is excellent, but for me, Infamous is the most buggy game I have had for the PS3 this gen.... i think.

Oblivion and Fallout are buggy on the 360 as well.

But for example, on infamous when walking around he will just stop moving, like he is running into uneven flooring or something. This is really annoying because I have died because of it. Other times he won't grab objects, but this is expected.

The worst was when I fell through the floor of the map and fell for about 10 seconds through the sky.

with all of that said, the game is definitely worth buying and the glitches are not usually anything that effects game play.

̶3̶R̶D̶   2ND! Place has never been so sweet.

This game was probably the most buggy console game I have ever played. Still a lot of fun though!

I had two crashes, I had clipping issues about 6-7 times and the AI of the enemies made them do some crazy things. 'The prisoners are escaping' often meant they are running on the spot against a wall. In many ways it reminded me of playing a PC game!

Fix'd

Seriously, thats childish.

very childish. The buggiest game i've played is easily Oblivion (it's still my favorite open worlder). I don't think i've gone more than 5 hours without randomly falling through the floor, failing a random quest because someone died (while i was picking nirnroot?) and whatnot.

games have bugs, but hopefully a patch or something will be released to adress those issues

Yeah i hope they release some kind of patch for the game, its buggy but the game itself is excellent!

Own: N64, Gameboy Color, PS2, Gameboy Advance SP, Nintendo DS, 60 GB PS3, PSP-2001

Currently Playing: Modern Warfare 2, and Borderlands!!

Favorites: Metal Gear Solid 4, Pokemon Firered, Dragonball Z Budokai 3, Jak and Daxter, Resistance: Fall of Man, Daxter, Little Big Planet, Infamous, Modern Warfare 2, Borderlands.

Ya it is pretty buggy, hopefully they release a patch soon. But overall great game

That sounds like your typical Bethesda game! Though to be honest I didn't experience a single bug in over 150 hours of regular unpatched vanilla Fallout 3 on the Xbox 360. It seems that any bugs if they existed happened to other people.

What gets me about the Oblivion (never really played the game unpatched) and Infamous bugs is the fact that the release dates were set for earlier in the year and they could have easily done a fair bit of bug testing had they been so inclined so that speaks of their attitude or more probable in this case, the attitude of the publisher to such faults. Its not like they were running into a Christmas deadline and the fact that they are there actually annoys me more than the bugs themselves if that makes sense to you?

Tease.

@ squilliam, no I wanted to play it, and play the Uncharted 2 beta that I got from it

@Munkeh I said nothing which implied it wasn't otherwise an excellent game.

Tease.

Getting rid of my past couple hours worth of work along with it. I'm really enjoying this game alot, but it's got way too many bugs. I've fallen through floors (and managed to jump my way out), I once tried to climb a building and on my first jump I got stuck in the wall and then rocketed straight up into the sky way over the building (I was worried I wasn't going to stop flying, but eventually gravity kicked in), lots of clipping issues, and just now I was doing this really annoying balloon mission, and I was on my last balloon (why make me disable four? I mean seriously, four terror busses, three substations, ect ect, just give me one or two and make it good) and it suddenly locked up, completely froze I had to just turn off my PS3. Really miffed right now. I am enjoying the game, but right now I just want nothing to do with it. Could have used another month of bug testing and cleaning up the engine a bit.

Stuff like this tends to happen in bad games :( sorry you unfortunately made the purchase.

The Halo francise is the most overrated bland game to ever hit the console market. It provides a bad name to all FPS that even showed effort at creating an original entertaining plot.

I probably have more ps3 games than you :/

But it's not a bad game, it's a very good game. Just a very unpolished one. I'm willing to put up with a lack of polish if there is something really great inside, No More Heroes comes to mind.
