Why are people trying to make films on games or franchises that have just started. There are so many other storied franchises that should be films like Metal Gear Solid or Final Fantasy.

He's not a bad actor, but he doesn't really fit the role. He's also not a big enough name - the only way this movie is going to be successful, since we know we can't rely on the directing or writing, is with a BIG name actor. He's been around, but he's someone more than half the people on this site had to look up before they knew who you were talking about. He's not big enough..and the movie would fail because it.
