The Wii version is neither true wide screen, nor 480p. Just like the original.

It's a quick cash-in, perhaps the worst deal ever. GC discs were selling for less than 10 bucks, and this is a straight copy paste job selling at 3 - 4 times more. Very disrespectful to say the least and it will bomb very, very badly. But after this turd and RE0 both come out, at least for now, there's not another quick dirty port coming up from them, so it's not that bad.

Sadly, if it sells anything like it did in JPN it will make them a nice chunck of change, with zero effort. Thanks for using that money from Wiimakes to create a compelling original Wii RE...oh wait.

don't waste your money on capcom's shovelware. just buy the gamecube versions for cheap instead.

@Sherlock: The next main RE is going to the PSP, made by Capcom Japan. Wii is getting an outsourced rails shooter. So much of a reward for buying all these rehashes. But dont worry, what goes around comes around. I enjoyed Bionic Commando bombing terribly, that was a good sign.
