madskillz,

What did they do, did they recently ask u to work for no money?

What sucks is that if the Navy stopped paying me I'd still have to work since I'm contractually bound to work for the USN. If I quit I'd be UA and could get a dishonorable discharge, which would destroy any future decent career aspects. Good thing for me is my contract also guarantees my pay so I don't have to worry about that :)

Wouldn't do it most jobs that asked you to work for free don't pay good to begin with.

Depends on the situation at hand.

If it was a temporary thing (2-4 weeks), I was going to go back to full pay, and it was required for the company to survive, I would do it.

Of course, I am in a very good position to do that. I've been smart with savings, and my fiancee and I have ~$50,000 in the bank with another $300,000 in assets.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

id say yes, then steal any and all office supplys to sell as payment!

Not yet, Slime. But a few of my friends in the biz were asked to take furloughs for a couple weeks - without pay. I would focus on my small biz and hustle on the side. I did work at a cybercafe where the boss asked the employees to go without pay for a month or so. And guess what? The place closed and the workers weren't paid.
