I had just watched Terminator Slavation with my girlfriend. These 2 girls went by and one of them said "I can't believe Michael Jackson's dead!". We gave them odd looks, then found out it was true when we got back.

At the exact time he died I was either playing Oblivion or posting on VGC, but when I heard the news wasn't until 20 hours later (after the night and a full day at work).
