I am frustrated by the fools who think that Uncharted will sell mediocre quantities and yet at the same time seek to overhype the other lame games which cannot live up to the greatness of Uncharted! Why is this?! Uncharted ought to pwn GoW 3 easily!!!

In order for it to be 12 million you have to assume that half to 1/3rd of the PS3 playerbase is into racing games.
I would not be a betting man when it comes to that assumption, sorry.
I don't want to drag Forza into this, because I'm not about to de-rail this thread, but when making software predictions, you need to take into consideration the fact that very few franchises actually sell hardware, and unless your going to state that by the time its all said and done, 50 million + Ps3's are going to be saturated, 12 million is a longshot at best. Forza has a better chance of 12 million only because a) more 360's have been sold, b) Microsoft is going to bundle the hell out of it, and c) Sony fails at advertising.
Don't get me wrong I think the game is going to be great, but don't inflate a number based on your personal preference, as hard as it sounds.

So I am guessing you're talking about exclusives? Cause even if you are talking strictly exclusive Final Fantasy Versus XIII should still be on that list. It is likely to do better than GOW3 and Uncharted 2.
My predictions:
GT5: 1.5 First Week. 7 Million LTD (I hope I'm shooting low).
U2: 350K First Week. 3 Mill. LTD.
GOW3: 300K First Week. 2.5 LTD.
Lifetime:
Uncharted 2 - 1.5 million

Uhm. GT is a very popular franchise. Just like Halo to Xbox 360. Popular franchise sells regardless of userbase. MGS4 for example. A lot of people boght PS3 just for that game. Halo 3 too.
