Yes, because people in retirement homes are always looking to buy pulse oximeters.
OT:I can understand people being underwhelmed or unimpressed by it but i couldn't say that i was disappointed. I do think that Nintendo failing to show a game along with the peripheral was uncharacteristic.
Disappointment is not the right word for the poll, and it applies to all of the options. In the same sense, nobody was disappointed with Natal because it wasn't known before hand.

I respect both of those reasons. But are you more disappointed by those two things than, say, the infamous Natal gif?

Well, I look at it like this:
I see Natal being introduced and think, "Really? Wow!" That shortly becomes, "Wow, that needs work." (I admit this glosses over the skepticism I had.)
I see WVS being introduced and think, "Wii Fit add-on? Whatever." There is no let-down. (For some, there is a letdown when there is no software demo.)

I agree with you and have wondered the same thing since the creation of the poll.
Eventually I decided that Wii-hatred, like a dammed river, needs some sort of outlet. I think the vitality sensor serves that purpose.

Yeah ... but that seems like a fairly natural application, so that's what I thought about it, even if it doesn't eventually happen. I guess that could be a teensy bit disappointing...

Even though I have stated my reservations to Natal and the Sony purple wand as they pertian to most genres, they at least tried to demonstrate something.
But, in the end I only own Wii and thus can only really be dissapointed by Wii related items. So, the only other option that really made sense on the poll to me was Tweenz, but I couldn't be dissapointed in a set of horrible games I would never care to own anyways.
Disapointing isn't the right word.
Useless, facepalm, funny, arousing, weird. But not disapointing.
I think etecoon just needed something Nintendo related to put in the poll.
