From what I've seen/heard so far, Super Mario Galaxy 2 will, atleast to me, be the superior game. So I definitely would want it to.

Hmm, dunno, really hard to say right now.

I just pray to God they'll use orchestrated music again, the midi-music in that trailer sound absolutely horrible compared to the original's soundtrack. And it even used a song from the original, so why they had to re-do it in midi and put it in that trailer is beyond me. I hope it's not a taste of things to come, I mean, if ever there was a time Nintendo could afford to put orchestrated music into its games, it's right now.

As long as the first SMG continues to sell, it will be a mountain to climb.
