This wasn't supposed to be giant argument or even an argument. I just wanted to put up a character guide I made for a game I'm playing. I went to the FAQ page where I'm used to seeing guides and walkthroughs on other websites and didn't see the functionality. I also didn't see any instructions on where to find it so I came here to ask. I didn't ask to get shit on for not reading some FAQ thread. I mean, there's not even a link to it on those pages.
As for the error, no I didn't already know that. I haven't tried the pages since the first three times it failed so stop being so snarky about the whole thing.

You know, every time I commented on a part of the website that I felt was incomplete, I did suggest a way to improve it. Not too long ago when people were complaining about seeing cheat requests they didn't care about, I suggested the "All, Only what you own, none" options. It's nice to see you implemented that. My comments may come off as harsh in part because you're highly sensitive to criticism and in part because they are often fairly harsh, but I make them because I genuinely want to see vgChartz improve.
As for the FAQ thread, I think it goes both ways. I think you're right that I should have read it more closely a while ago. I also think it's fair to say that there needs to be more clarity on the actual game pages about their purpose or a link to such. It's one thing to put up a website FAQ, but unless you link to it in various places and promote it then you're basically relying on users needing to hunt for the instructions to how things work when they don't work as expected.

A real FAQ page sounds great. I'll look forward to it. In the meantime, I'll work on "toning down the harshnress."
