And Gamespot never reviews early, and they only have Launch Pages for the biggest games. Whatever the Internet has made you believe, The Conduit is not a part of that. That doesn't mean they can't give it a 9 when they review it

For one said to appreciate gaming for what it is, trusting reviewers like them is laughable. Are they even gamers themselves (which is sometimes hard to believe when you visit some "gaming sites" out there)? :/

Why not? Of course, there are a lot of reviews from them that I disagree. But I find their reviews very informative and that in a good proportion are more or less in accordance to what I think of the game. Of course, there are reviewers I'm bound to disagree with, but for example Kevin Van Ord does great reviews there.

As for if they're gamers or not, I don't know nor I know how to find that out, nor care anyway

Kevin Van Ord?! The guy that did that review for Metroid Prime 3: Corruption saying that there was nothing new in the game (oh wait, other than new ship interaction we've never seen before and the best FPS controls on the Wii at the time and many more things... Did he even finish the game)? Haha!

Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Gamespot gave P3 the RPG of the Year over Mass Effect, as it was deserved, they were one of the very few sites that did that. That gave them a lot of points in my book

In other words: that reviewer is one of the clueless bunch.

And man, for some reason I'm starting to find this whole Atlus sudden-elitism quite funny. I thought they made shitty games before, and now that Square is going down the drains (that's subjective though), it's like the best JRPG developer out there? I'm curious about their games, but can Persona 3 really beat Mass Effect (which is sci-fi = automatic win anyway)? I'm willing to try some of their best games, but...

Meh, I can't say anything for now since I'm not an Atlus fan (for now)! xD

And you thought they made shitty games...which means you can't attest if they made shitty games...

You don't settle for the one who does the most "objective" reviews. You settle for the one that does the review more closely to your tastes. I think everyone does that

Like I said, I find Atlus to be teh company for "cool Japanese lover guys" for some reason this generation. Those people I'm talking about are saying bad things about Square now when they used to motivate those little gamer brains in the past. Now, they're taking a dumb on all things Square saying "Sorry man, Atlus is overtaking the JRPG department now." I know it doesn't have anything to do with Mass Effect, but this is what I have in my mind for quite some time now. And I was about to say "You liked Riviera, really?", but they didn't develop the game! xD

With that said, the games they published had more impact on me than the games they developed for sure (they published many DonPachi games and R-Type Command for example, so they at least win because of that).

@ noname: They did make those games. I didn't recognize Atlus as a JRPG developer before this generation though, funny eh?
