Forums - Gaming - Guitar Hero: Pantera

i never played guitar hero, nor am i interested. personally i think for the same price of the game and the cheap plastic guitar your better off buying a real guitar and playing some real music. but if activision were to come out with a Guitar Hero: Pantera, i would def jump on the plastic guitar band wagon (assuming they would come out with a dimebag darrel signature dean guitar to go with).

i dont think it would ever happen in reality, mostly because dimebag is dead,  and phil ansalmo is an asshole and wouldent want there music to be a video game. regardless i think it would be amazing.

so what bands would you like to see in the next guitar hero, or rock band?

Rock Band: Children of Bodom!

Rock Band: CoB is probably the only oppurtunity music games will have with me...

Pantera already had Cowboys from Hell on the first Guitar Hero.

Rock Band Weird Al?

I don't listen to much outside of Jazz, soundtracks, and Weird Al. If they made it though, I'd definitely buy it!

I never really understood this argument.

I mean, those who use it are more often than not, guilty of what they're criticizing. For the price of a game/system, you could simply go and buy a paintgun and actually shoot people rather than use a plastic controller. Or you could buy a real gun, go to a shooting range and learn to shoot.

If sports games are more your thing, go buy a hockey stick.

Platformers? Play hopscotch.

Adventure games? Go hiking, make your own adventure.

I'm sure you get my point.

Anyway, I do understand the pull when their is a version of a band that you absolutely love. If I hadn't already been sold on rhythm games, I would be now with the releases of The Beatles: Rockband and Guitar Hero: Pearl Jam.

Guitar Hero: The White Stripes.

Game of the Forever.

Since RB: Beatles is already done (I use RB since I prefer it over GH):

-Rock Band: Pink Floyd
-Rock Band: Led Zeppelin
-Rock Band: Queen
-Rock Band: The Who
-Rock Band: Creedence

The first two would rule so much.

Wow, zex, it's as if my pop hacked your account, learned English, and posted this.
