Fire Emblem.....all of them

This sums it up for me. It's why I own almost all of them, with plans on getting the rest of  them this summer if the person I buy from has them...

Valkyria Chronicles

QFT! Valkyria Chronicles is one of my favorite games this generation. Although FFT / FFT war of the lions is also extremely good.

Final Fantasy Tactics

Valkyria Chronicles and Jeanne d'arc.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,

@sapient:  Not all of those titles are sRPGs.  You're mistaking TBS for sRPG.

In most cases the distinction is completely arbitrary. Unit levels were in strategy games long before role-playing games existed.

Shining Force I, II, III

Ogre Battle series

Dragonforce

I had always wondered about Jeanne d'arc. PSP games disappear off shelfs pretty fast. If nothing else this thread has given me another title to look into. Not that I have a shortage of games to play.

Unfortunately I have only played 2, Dark Wizard for the Sega CD and Valkaria Chronicles, VC wins.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

No love for Final Fantasy Tactics Advance? For shame.
