IGN has named Silent Hill: Shattered Memories the best Wii game of e3 '09. How highly do you place it on your personal Wii Most Wanted Games List?

I have the original on PS1, and I tried to get into for the first time a couple of months ago, but I think the dated graphics took away a bit from my enjoyment of it, so I only made it up to the school scene before I quit. However, I think if I had a Wii that I would be interested in the Wii remake due to improved graphics over the PS1 version, so it would probably be in my own top 5 most wanted Wii games.

It's not a remake. It's like Batman Begins--starting again with similar themes, but completely different story.

And it's probably #1 on my list (close race between it and New Super Mario Bros Wii)

It's pretty high. The only competition that comes to mind is Little King's Story and Metriod Trilogy.

Obviously for me there is only one game that beats it out, and that is Ju-On Wii (because of Takeshi Shimizu's involvement)

But yeh I am DYING for this game. You really should play that Silent Hill 1, and if not go right to Silent Hill 2.

The graphics are good with component cables, and it will get you as excited as me hopefully.

Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6). This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

I bet it will be such a mind screw, you can't tell if it's a reboot or a remake.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Jesus, you have no idea--I played the game at E3 (with about 60,000 other people in the building) and it's still probably the most terrifying game I've played.
