everyone who claims that shia's being bashed just because he doesn't like the wii need to reread what he said. he basically bashed the entire wii user base, and he has never played the console. opinions are fine, but this guy hasn't even touched a wii. he has no right to use such harsh words.

You don't need to play the Wii to know that it is geared towards casual gamers rather than the hardcore.

right, but to state that its for "amateur" players is just wrong. i dont really view myself as an "amateur". the wii may have a lot of casual games, but they don't all suck, like he's implying.

Casual does mean Amateur, but because they don't want to progress their gaming skills. Would you rather I said novice? The Wii may have challenging games...but the amount of those games, do not warrent a purchase from a hardcore gamer. Casuals can get full value out of that system.

I think all of this proves that actors do not have to be intelligent or think before they say.

I have no problem with someone not liking a console. I do have a problem with someone not thinking out what they are saying. In that case, both LaBeouf and Fox are guilty.

Basically, what LaBeouf was saying about the Wii would earn you a ban for trolling on this board -- regardless of what console you said it about. He put up no cogent argument. His example was week. His experience was nil.

As for Fox, to quote a line from the movie "Malibu Express" -- "Body by Fisher. Brains by Mattel."
