Forums - Nintendo - I'm suddenly addicted to Animal Crossing: Anyone know why?

Ah, that last sentence explains it all: it's your first Animal Crossing. The first time, it captures you with its charm. By the time you get to the third incarnation of what is basically the same game, not so much.

Enjoy it while you can.... ;)

No seriously, AC is a great game, and one that can get really addictive. :) I just wish Nintendo expand upon its gigantous potential next time around.

Well, it's your first animal crossing, enough said. I played the gamecube one to death, now it just feels super boring.

I bought the DS version for my girlfriend and now we're both addicted.

It all has to do with who lives in your town..I refuse to share a town with that stupid sheep baabera. oh how I loathe her. x.o

But I loved Mitzy. ^___^

I too kind of disappeared from my animal crossing world though....I still don't have time to play it. :(

You besta back up off my bitch! Mitzy is mine! I'm still pissed at my friend who went into my town and wrote Mitzy a letter saying I have AIDS! Everyone want's a peice of Mitzy's sweetness.

That three-timing bimbo!  Sure, I've been gone for a few months, but this was completely uncalled for!

Good thing I still have Hazel...

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Just bought the AC version with the WiiSpeak and haven't opened it yet. (was $35-40 on newegg.com if anyone's interested). I bought it in anticipation of playing The Conduit with Wiispeak but want to give AC a try anyhow. I hope to enjoy it as much as some people are implying :)

Hardware is only a means to enjoy great games!

I didn't "get it". I played Wild World for a while, but soon I got tired of doing the same stuff everyday. one day I'll try again and see what happens, but maybe it's not for me.

the words above were backed by NUCLEAR WEAPONS!

the game is awesome, plain and simple.
