With the exception of Vesperia, I haven't found a Tales game that I can even tolerate, including Symphonia, Radiant Mythology and Eternia. **I do, however, own both Legendia and Abyss and am looking to start them soon. Normally, I wouldn't have bothered after having tried three times already, but after Vesperia, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt

For me, the answer is likely to be FFXIII. As much as I loved Vesperia, I still prefer the vast majority of Final Fantasy games to it.

Even FF12?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really enjoyed 12. I didn't enjoy it as much as my favourite FF's, but nonetheless, it was a fantastic game.

Was it better than ToV? I think so. Much better? No.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I........i can't...believe....what i'm reading.

some people are just FF fanatics, nothing wrong with that.

Well i own both consoles, and i'll be buying both games. Though i'm more hyped for FF XIII. I want to believe in Square for the last time.

Why not? It's anything but blasphemous. It was a great game and I thought it started a great direction for the series.

The games' faults are often overexaggerrated.

I respect your opinion though i don't like it at all.

@Soriku:
My opinion is that Nomura's talent lies in the art styles of KH, TWEWY and also the Musashi series. More of that please :)

@txrattlesnake:
People can still have their own opinions based on their own experience. FFXII has a 9.5 score but I still find ToS 100x better.

That's a bit unfair, wouldn't you think?

There are plenty of RPGs I prefer over several main installments of Final Fantasy. For example: Xenogears, Vagrant Story, Dragon Quest VIII, Disgaea, Valkyria Chronicles and FFT are all, in my opinion, better than FF VII and VIII.

I'm surprised that I missed Secret of Mana and Chrono Trigger though.

FFXII best PS2 game of 2006 and better than Guitar Hero II and Okami, so it's defintely better than Vesperia.
