If you go to either IGN or youtube frequently(which I guess most of us do),you'll notice the fanboy comments are much worse there than here.I just thought it was worth mentioning.I once saw a comment on youtube.It was on a video of Sony's MAG(massive action game),the FPS with 256 players online.The commnt sounded something like:"you 360 guys eat shit!Uncharted 2 & MAG will kick your gay GOW and deing halo series...." you get the point.Deing Halo series?

There are some reader reviews on IGN right now.I think from the demos(or has it been released anywhere yet?).The average score is 9.6.Thats if you don't count the troll whose username is "wiisuckslol" and whose review was titled "FUCK DIS STOOPID GEY KIDDY SHITIIWII GAME".His review begins:
"AHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH YOU WIITARDS ARE SO CUTE AND FUNNY I CANT BELIVE U HYPE DIS GAME WHEN YOU KNO IT SUCKS I FEEL SRRY FOR YOU GEY WIITARDS YOU GOT NO GAMES YOU GOT NO ONLINE YOU GOT SHIT..."
He gave it a perfect 0.0,forcing 2 readers to write their own reviews to counter his.They had to give it perfect 10s to do this.If you don't count this guy & the 2 peeps dat countered him,the average reader review score is 9.6.

Yea, it is why I do not care for most sites. This site seems more active and well grown up. I am not one to care much for end scores in reviews ethier.

I think the language on youtube is absurd...I remember was lookin at game and in the comments they were arguing, and were dropping N bombs, callin each other Jews, and just tons of other BS

I go to youtube all the time. They say that all the time. I remember somone posted on a video I made saying bad things about it. I deleted the comment and blocked him.Everyone else loves my videos

Yes, somehow we've managed to foster a (mostly) intelligent community. Even the trolls try to back up their points with facts, however imaginary said facts may be.

don't forget gametrailers, there so much trolling on those forums that it can be amusing sometimes.

The mods do a good job here, keeping the trolling to a minimum.

I think a lot of it has to do with the size of the community. On a smaller site you're more accountable for your ations as people will remember you. But on Youtube it's a different story. That site is so big that you feel completely anonymous and thus can say whatever you want. There aren't enough mods on the whole internet to keep Youtube in check.
