Sounds good. I think I'll just try that game out! Thanks!

Woo! Mass Effect! Tell him to join the hype train, so we can talk Wrex Tactics!

Why must JRPG female leads suck so bad?

^lol Wrex = most badass party member to grace an RPG

OT: Mass effect is amazing im glad he enjoyed it as for the $50 i agree go put it towards Mass Effect 2

Long Live SHIO!

There's some soap operaish parts in the game, but the ending is just fucking awesome (my dad was freaking out, partly cause he was drunk >.<). I think you should start the game on hard, because otherwise it's a button masher for the most part, until you get to the tough bosses (but if you make it hard, from what I remember from the demo, the enemies are a lot smarter and tougher).

Mass Effect and Vista are the reason I got my 360.

I had a friend who wanted me to buy him Army Of Two for christmas last year, I felt guilty buying such a crap game so I bought him AOT for £20 and managed to pickup Mass Effect on preowned for about £7. When he opened his presents he was chuffed with AOT and then asked what the hell ME was, I said trust me you'll like it. End of a long story he quickly finished AOT and put it to one side while ME he is on his second playthrough and loved the game. The game is so good it can pull in gamers who wouldn't traditionally like RPG's, just a great game and I can't wait for the sequel.

It's funny, but Mass Effect is probably one of the cheapest 360 games. I bought it at $14 at Gamestop, after being recommended by one of the workers. Sometimes quality goes unnoticed. Mass Effect 2 should get a far better reception than the last game.

Quality going unnoticed? ME2 getting a far better reception? What planet are you on? Mass Effect sold 2 million copies and has a Meta of 91. It didn't go unnoticed at all.

I am a huge gaming fan, and even I read the gaming news more than I play the games. I didn't even know about Mass Effect until late 2008, when the game was recommended to me. The game also devalued very quickly. 2 Million copies solid is a good reception to me, but not great. Take Tekken 5 for instance...that was a great game, but sold like shit. Tekken 6 will most likely sell two fold what that game sold. The hype of how good Tekken 5 was and how Tekken 6 is an improvement will definitely help the sales.
