Forums - Gaming - Is the next 18 months the Golden age of Gaming?

I not talking about one system. I'm talking in general. There is IMO the greatest lineup of video games coming out in the next 18 months. If there's one thing that fanboys can agree on is the lineup should brings smiles to all gamers.

Alan Wake, Assassin's Creed 2, Brutal Legend, Splinter Cell Conviction, Rock Band Beatles, Forza Motorsport 3, GT5,  Mass Effect 2, Halo ODST, Halo Reach, 2 Marios, Metroid M, Wii Sports Resort, Conduit, Final Fantasy 13, Left 4 Dead 2, Modern Warfare 2, Fight Night Round 4, The Saboteur, God of War 3, Uncharted 2, Natal, Sony motion control, Crackdown 2, Heavy Rain, Metal Gear PSP, Resident EVil PSP, LBP PSP, MAG, Scribblanauts, Red Steel.

There are still numerous titles that i cant remember but the list is quite impressive across all titles.

I didn't put any of the metal gears of last guardian cause there not 2010 confirmed at least i dont think they are

Thank you Kowenicki

PS3 will need to outsell 360 by:

444,931 per month to catch it by Jan 2011. 102,676 per week.
266,958 per month to catch it by Jan 2012. 61,606 per week.
190,685 per month to catch it by Jan 2013. 44,004 per week.
148,310 per month to catch it by Jan 2014. 34,225 per week.

Current rate is:  -18,262 per month
Avge over last 6 mths
Negative number means 360 is outselling PS3 by that amount per mth on avge

Definitely not by your list. But it might have a chance if you add the unbelievable PC lineup of the next 18 months.

You wrote heavy rain twice!!!!! and no love for last guardian and ratchet?

Even though I now own a gaming PC, I still prefer the console line-up by far.
Can't even think of 5 PC exclusives I'm looking forward to in the next 18 months, but easily 15 PS3 and 10 360 exclusives.

No man, the golden age of gaming when E.T. was released on the Atari, lol...

Enjoy

Add to that Burnout 6, Motion Plus titles like Red Steel 2, Pokemon Heart Gold/ Soul Silver, GT PSP, Zelda: Spirit Tracks and Zelda: Wii.

Why does this time have to coincide with my 3rd year of uni?! :(.
